Questions

Do I need to be technical to use this?

No. If you can run one terminal command (./install.sh) you're set. After that you talk to Claude in plain English. Your VA can run it too — the quickstart PDF walks them through it in under 5 minutes.

What's "Claude Code"? Do I need to pay for that too?

Claude Code is Anthropic's CLI — free to install, and you'll pay Anthropic directly for API usage (typically pennies per listing). ListingForge is the skill pack that runs inside it. Install instructions for Claude Code are in the quickstart.

Is the output actually MLS-safe?

Every description runs through a Fair Housing scan that auto-rewrites flagged phrases (e.g. "perfect for families", "exclusive neighborhood", "master bedroom" → "primary bedroom"). The skill returns Compliance Notes listing every change. Final review by a licensed agent is still required — but the skill catches the violations most agents miss.

Does my listing data get sent anywhere?

Your property.json stays on your laptop. Claude Code sends prompts to Anthropic's API the same way ChatGPT does — Anthropic does not train on API inputs by default. No third-party SaaS sees your data.
